Plant Journal Tips

Why Track Your Plant Care?

A plant care journal solves the most common beginner problem: "I can't remember when I last watered this." By tracking each watering, you build an understanding of each plant's rhythm over weeks and seasons. You'll notice patterns — which plants dry out faster, which ones slow down in winter, when a plant suddenly needs more water because it's root-bound.

Daily ticking takes under 60 seconds — just mark off which plants you watered that day. The monthly summary is worth 10–15 minutes at the end of each month. The growth tracker can be updated weekly or whenever you notice significant changes.

Yes, completely free. The online journal saves automatically in your browser — no account needed. The PDF export requires your email address so we can send you the formatted file.

Yes — your plant names, watering logs, monthly notes, and growth measurements are all saved to your browser's local storage. They'll be there when you return on the same device and browser. To keep records permanently, download the PDF export or use the print function.
